What is Academic Underachievement?

Academic underachievement is very complex and extremely wearisome for parents and students. Academic underachievement is a big illness that can be due to multiple reasons. Deficiencies in academic capabilities could be because of the following.

Intellectual delays

Students that are performing in the Intellectually Deficient range or those with major cognitive injury, generally perform inadequately in school as a result.

Behavioral deficits

Behavioral deficits including problems sitting, self-regulating, listening and general misbehavior often foresee academic underachievement.

Psychological disorders

At last, most psychological disorders, such as depression and nervousness, weaken motivation and performance, in this manner causing the student to underachieve.

Other than the above mentioned reasons, one of the most important reasons of academic underachievement can be the result of a specific learning disability
